I just have to say a big “thank you” to my friend Amy, who did all the work to my front patio and made it look so lovely! I did manage to get some shots of customers perusing thru the goods.

Our One year anniversary….

The soiree started Friday eve and ran thru Saturday. Beth from Eliwill is on the left, then Vana with LePapier Designs, myself, and Alyssa with Revamp. Saturday morning was steady, then not a soul in sight from 12-2ish, then after 2, it was swamped again. I was honored just to have these talented ladies here with me!
I will post some pics in the next few days of the front of the shop, my friend Amy went to town with the decoration. So fall, and so lovely!! The best surprise for me, was a customer who i met at The Country Living Fair in Ohio, and she drove all the way from Ohio to partake in the party. Actually, a few surprises! I got to meet some of my fellow readers from blogland……Jen who lives an hour from here, showed up yesterday an hour early for the party, but with daughter in tow. …she got the first preview! 
Who needs some sugar?

I think i need some sugar. I literally am running around like a chicken over here as i try and get ready for things here and there.
First, the area the shop is in here in St. Charles, is having it’s annual sidewalk sale this weekend. Starts tomorrow and i am crazy trying to price all the things i want to fly out the door.
Second, I leave next Wednesday for Ohio.
Just got a letter stating that presales for The Country Living Fair have outnumbered the amount of actual people that attended last year. That’s just presale tickets mind you, not the people that just show up for the day.
I’m not sleeping, since I’m up at night thinking about how I’m going to arrange and set up shop, constantly going over scenario’s.
whew!
And to boot, i have the shop’s One year anniversary party in 4 weeks!
